This project was for the Iowa Sports Foundation for their yearly May challenge called Burst Your Thirst. The purpose of the challenge is to encourage people to drink more water. I designed two fliers for the challenge. The flier on the left I designed to emphasize the visuals of the logo and convey excitement. The flier on the right was tailored to the direction they wanted to move towards for the challenge where they emphasize the benefits of drinking water for the human body. Below the fliers are social media images I designed for the challenge. They wanted a square version and a vertical version. I found images that fit the theme and aesthetic of the challenge and edited them with a blue tint to match the color palette used on the Burst Your Thirst marketing materials.
Below are the marketing materials I designed for the Iowa Sports Foundation 2024 Senior Games. The logo was designed using a combination of bold solid type and a running person paired with thin wavy lines for movement to achieve a balance of strength and finesse. The color palette of dark blue with a bright turquoise was used to give the event a modern yet refined look and feel. The marketing materials for the event are as follows: three website headers with different images showing off sporting events, a flier design for each sport, a design for the front and back of a mailer, and a shirt design for athletes and volunteers.
